- Keep them cool. Heat makes the helium expand, so avoid leaving your balloons in a hot car or near radiators.
- Take care in the car. Pop the balloons on the back seat or in the boot area, away from the driver, and keep sharp objects well clear.
- Supervise young children. Never leave small children alone with balloons, and always dispose of burst or deflated balloons straight away.
- Never inhale helium. It is not a toy or a party trick.
